The Center for African Arts and Designs, Ibadan, Nigeria is an independent, flexible, non-governmental, non-profit outfit, housed in a duplex with rooms, studios, offices and a hall for exhibitions. It was established in 2007 to serve the artistic and design needs of all and sundry, both white and black.
It operates transparently with insufficient financial and administrative capabilities. With the little facilities on ground, the center boasts of giving practical training and research to individuals who might want to participate in artistic and design knowledge acquisition.
Training is given in Drawing, Painting, Textile Designs, Sculpture, and Graphics design. African crafts ideas based on originality is also emphasized. Creativity is our watchword.
